Print advertisements for Osborne Wood Products (OWP) were all designed in Adobe InDesign. This assignment would be given to me once or twice a month, along with instructions on the products they wanted highlighted. They were later featured in magazines catered towards interior design or woodworking.
A personal and approved challenge of mine was to change the standard layout and design for past OWP's advertisements. While they were satisfactory and did the job, I felt there needed to be a change that better matched the aesthetics of the modern era and grabbed attention. So, with each ad, I endeavored to make it a unique and eye-catching one while also meeting the brand's guidelines.

Each advertisement featured different company product's. A list of desired products to be featured would be sent to me in the company messaging system. From there, I would go through company files, find appropriate images, and incorporate them into the design.
Some challenges would be that the colors of the product were not unified. My task would then be to either go into Adobe Photoshop or Canva to edit the product's color. While a slight difference was allowed, the products' color should be able to fall into the beige or cream category.
Other ads were sent to me with the explicit instruction to be experimental, such as the one on the left. I would be given a new measurement and product list, and then tasked with coming up with an appropriate design.
