Infographics for Osborne Wood Products (OWP) were all designed in Canva, with one or two being made in Adobe InDesign. These designs were for the company's online articles. They were meant to serve as viewing aids that broke up the text and summarized the content. Out of all project categories, infographics was the one I worked on the most.
One challenge I gave myself was to make the infographics break from the standard or past designs. I thought outside the box on how to incorporate brand-related imagery and graphics that gave the required information in an easy-to-read and attention-grabbing fashion. This involved utilizing unique layouts, minimal text, and creative use of shapes.
A limit I had was that I had to work within the brand's colors. I strived to get around this by making sure each infographic had something distinctive about it.
