Other Graphic Work
Type: Hybrid (In-person every Tuesday)
These designs were made during my second internship at Osborne Wood Products, Inc., located in Toccoa, Georgia. During this internship, I worked mostly in Canva but also occasionally in the Adobe Creative Suite. My work consisted of hero images, website content, social media content, ad design, and more. Other non-design work I've done was updating product pages on the company's website, reorganizing company-wide online folders, ad research, collaboration research, and competitor research.
My first internship, while design-related, involved creating signs for customers using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Unfortunately, I have no content from that time to display. Still, I am grateful for that internship. It let me work in an environment that needed daily communication and constant content creation. I became more creative and better understood the relevant software during my time there.

This project was a three-week-long endeavor that I worked on in my free time. I was given the opportunity to design and submit an infographic for a Canva weekly contest. My supervisor provided me with instructions and the content that needed to be included. Everywhere else, I had free rein, except for the contest rules. There are some things I wish I could change, such as adding images and increasing the canvas size.
A multipage booklet that I worked on with a fellow intern. The pages were split between us, and we both discussed what should go on each one. This project was assigned to us as part of a broader marketing campaign, with this booklet at its center. Our final work was reviewed and previewed, but we both had the final say on what content to include.
A multi-page graphic made in Canva and uploaded to Pinterest. This was to advertise OWP's product using their latest render.
Graphics created for the company's website to serve as hero images on OWP's website. These were changed almost weekly. Subjects would include: sales, updates on their YouTube channel, new build instructions, etc. I would often do at least 3 hero images a month.
Graphics that would be attached to subscription emails for customers or wholesalers. I would make these in Canva and then format the email using an email formatting website.
A graphic made for OWP's Pinterest board. This was created in Adobe Photoshop before being imported to Canva for finalization. I drew inspiration from similar styles and added an eye-grabbing cutout at the bottom to soften the transition to white.
Hero images the same as the section at the top, but made for mobile devices. Content would have to be adjusted and designs altered. The challenge for this would often be making the designs unifying while chaning the layout and having a smaller canvas.
